The biggest touristic site in Europe managed by people coming from the penal borough, in the town of Pozzuoli, within Naples district.
The oldest and most mysterious neighbourhood in Pozzuoli, inhabited for 50 years and full of scattered hidden treasure, is finally open to tourists from all around the world.
The Brief was centred about finding a connection between “holy” and “ancient” by trying to modernise the style and making it easy to approach, seeing as the target audience includes children and adults. What allowed to realise all this was immersing in the place’s history. Besides, the landscape is worth of a postcard photo.
The design present a minimal approach, with a touch of ancient feature, because the final decision came from Pozzuoli’s Diocese.
The font choice has been focused on the Angin Studio “Leonetta”, which synthesised the concept perfectly, by modifying it with ligatures and new proportions in order to give movement and union to the typographical characters.
As soon as the logo has been published and the inauguration announced, there has been an abundance of info requests and tour bookings. The tour is currently having a considerable success.
